BESTARI JAYA - Communication Assembly or the short form of it is "Comm Assembly" is an assembly of all students of communication and library science from Diploma to Bachelor Degree, it will also be attended by the faculty of communications and library science.
The purpose of the gathering was to gather all students from the communication department and to inform current issues, activities or events and the conflicts of interest of students and lecturers.
Additionally, announcements about clubs within the communications department and open registration to anyone who wishes to join. Among the clubs under the communications department are Comunication Media Club (CMC), The Voice, Diploma Communication And Media Club (DCMC), and Comm. TV.
Communication Media Club (CMC) is the club that runs this assembly, at the same time, they will also announce the members of the club so that all the students know who holds the position as other students can contact them if they wish to organize an event or activity.
The assembly will also be held every year so that students and faculty can find out about the events, activities and events within the communications department. Next, the gathering was held so that students could get to know and participate in events or activities.
According to the vice president of Communication Media Club (CMC), Haiqal Azim, it was held to allow students to participate in activities and clubs because most communication students just go to class and make boring daily routines.
"We hold this assembly so that communication students can join the club and activities instead of going to class and staying in the room alone without engaging in any interesting activities or experiences."he said during the interview after the assembly.
Communication students can also join the club so that they have experience that can be used at work as the majority of communication students are inexperienced in various aspects that may affect job or internship performance.
Students also need not be afraid to join the club held in the communications department as it will help the student to become proficient in any subject. Comm. TV is the club that teach student how to be an expert in Broadcasting sector so that it will help student to be an expert in handling a broadcast news, cameraman and news script writing.
According to the president of Communication, Farhira Farudin, she hopes that this rally can be held again next year as it is important for all students to know the club and the activities held in the communications department.
"It is my hope that this event will be a lot more lively next year and that students will gain a lot of experience in the club and activities."she said during the interview.
The gathering was also well done because the hall was full of communication students and it did not make the students bored as the input provided was very interesting.
