WUHAN - Coronavirus (COVID-19) or people called it as "Wuhan Virus" because it began at Wuhan, China and it has spread throughout the country including southeast Asia is the most dangerous virus that will affect human health.
Many of those infected either worked at the Huanan seafood wholesale market in the center of the Chinese city, or shopped frequently. Fresh and alarming viruses generally come from animal hosts. Types include Ebola and flu.
On 23 January at 5 p.m., China had confirmed 619 coronavirus cases. Thursday the official death toll remained unchanged at 17. All recorded deaths were at Hubei, where 444 confirmed cases were reported.
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses known to cause disease ranging from common cold to more serious illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
This depends on the virus but typical signs include respiratory problems, fever, cough, shortness of breath and difficulty breathing. In more severe cases, pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death may result from infection.
The virus causes pneumonia. Cough, fever and breathing difficulties are reported for those who have fallen ill. Because this is viral pneumonia, antibiotics are of no use.
According to WHO, Standard guidelines for reducing exposure to and transmission of a range of diseases include upholding proper hand and respiratory hygiene, and safe food practices, and avoiding close contact with anyone with respiratory symptoms such as coughing and sneezing, where possible.
All people must take care of themselves because this virus will spread and this disease will attack us everytime and everywhere, people also must concern about the hygiene whether for own self or family.
